This ride is awesome and everyone can relate to either going through a fun house or riding a spinning mouse ride at a carnival at one point in life. All meshed into one ride. I will be there to experience this. What a concept wow!

Seems like a lot of parks are wanting to raise the dark ride bar. This is obviously an indoor coaster but I do consider Wonder Mountain's Guardian to be a dark ride and not a coaster.

Anyway Wonder how long until Carowinds joins the dark ride fad.

Oh looky here! I do believe this is yet another Maurer Söhne Xtended SC 2000 model... except it's in a box. At least it has more cardboard doodads to gawk at & litte to no "projection" screens littering the place unlike Crush's Coaster.

Seems like a lot of parks are wanting to raise the dark ride bar.

If such a bar exists it would probably be almost non-existent. I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of amusement parks consist of nothing but coasters, flats & slides. If there are any dark rides they're almost always a series of cavernous rooms with some sparse scenery scattered about. If it's a shoot'em up variant the targets are either cardboard cutouts or screens projecting animation that would be at home on the PS2. If I wanted to play a game I'd do it from the comfort of my own home. I want to visit the actual set-pieces you see in movies, not zip by at lightning speed with a pause here & there for a film clip or a lawn ornament.
