I haven't ridden an SLC, but I think Shockwave up at KD might just be the worst "thrill" coaster I've ever been on.

I would do a marathon on Shockwave before willingly getting on Twisted Typhoon at Wild Adventures (or any other slc) just because.

Wild Adventures SLC is probably the best one I've been on. It's super smooth (or at least it was a few years back) and I didn't have any issues with headbanging.

I rode it one time and had the worst headache. It had been down most of the day and would open and go down after a few cycles here and there. It got stuck on the final brakes right as I was about to get on...lol I finally got on and crossed my fingers that the same wouldn't happen to me. I'm so glad it didn't as I was so ready to get off that contraption. At least I got the credit....lol

I think it would work wonders with new trains and will perhaps give it a chance again if I ever go back. It's a nice park to go to once, but thrilling it really wasn't for me. Viking Voyage is my favorite coaster there....with Cheetah coming in 2nd. They do have some nice flats, If I can ever get my siblings to bring their children there I'll go again. I only live about an hour and a half from there.
