I know that I am late to the party but I have some things to say. What they SHOULD do is rename Afterburn to Centurion and use that logo from the leaked Centurion website. It would be sort of like Kings Island did last year when they renamed Flight Deck to The Bat. Anyways, I am glad that Carowinds is finally getting recognized as an "elite park" within Cedar Fair.

To do that they would have to remove the fighter jet since this isn't Six Flags which just got refurbished

So are you saying that Carowinds wouldn't do that just because they aren't owned my Six Flags? I guess that makes sense. Anyways, I didn't really clarify that I just wanted them to do that. I fully know that it probably won't happen but hey, this is a speculation thread! It's fun to guess!

Centurion could very easily be a completely different ride, also to be constructed at the park, having nothing to do with the huge coaster they're pouring footings for now. Has anybody wondered why they said they're going to have to shut the front gate down? Must be doing a LOT of work at the front of the park.

I wonder where the proposed underground tunnel will go. It is not really clear to me if they will redirect that road coming into the front entrance. If not, it would be neat to see the coaster dive under the road!

Wait? Not just a 300 + ft coaster, but a flat ride and maybe 2 flat rides? And then something in addition to that?

I remember being on the skytower in the 80s/90s thinking to myself, "wouldn't it be so cool if they build a coaster "as high as the sky tower?" And not only will this be taller than the sky tower, but taller than Windseeker. I think that's so cool
