This probably won't mean anything to anyone here, but Dogpatch was my first ever amusement park. It's so sad to see it in shambles over the last several years. I was excited to see the article saying it had been bought and was hoping that meant they were going to restore it back to it's fun-filled glory days. But it looks like it's going to become an ecotourism park.

It's sad when the unique parks go under. My park was Conneaut Lake Park

After years of hope I guess they are selling it off, as last I read, due to the fact of the bills they owe. Blue Streak was always scary and awesome to me.

It is sad to lose classics.

My first two amusement parks ever (Bell's Amusement Park in Tulsa was my second) have both gone under. The family that owned Bell's has tried to save theirs over the years, but they clearly don't know how to manage a park. I think it's hopeless.

The good news is my third park ever won't be going anywhere anytime soon. (Silver Dollar City!) It's there to stay!
