^No one is forcing you to buy food at the park. If prices are such a big deal, bring your own lunch to the park. My family used to bring some wings and drinks from Walmart. You can even grill or fry outside of the park. And while I love Carowinds to death, the food you bring to the park is probably better than the food inside.

Not so sure about that. As the food at Harmony Hall is quite good. But if it is a bit pricey for you, then you can always have your hand stamped and leave the park. There is a Wendy's right out front, and a Culver's and a Cracker Barrel right across the street. Plus several major restaurant chains and fast food restaurants nearby. And a 7-11 and a QT.

They charge what people are willing to pay for food. I went to the park yesterday and there were insane amounts of people buying food in Harmony Hall. All of the meals are about 14-16 bucks, and if people were not willing to pay that much, the park would lower their prices.

Harmony Hall, IMO, answers all the complaints about food at the park. Yes, the prices are in line with others in the park, but the quality and portion sizes blow the rest of the choices away. I ordered the chicken tender plate with fries, and literally fed 3 BIG guys off of that plate, and it was some of the best I've ever had, period.

Also, think about how much you'd spend if you went to Chiliappletuesdays and got a burger, fries and drink. About 13 bucks? Isn't that about the same amount as Carowinds charges? Just sayin...

Going back on topic, there is a lot of spray paint on the asphalt outside Juke Box Diner. Will the new coaster run in that area? Are they going to tear down the diner to make room for the station and line?

My final guess is that we will be getting a 325 foot tall, chain lift hill, that goes 95+mph. I also predict there will be 1 long tunnel and a short tunnel that will go under the entrance to the park (or through). I was really hoping for a wing coaster, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I would still be happy if it was floor-less, or anything that makes it unique from the average B&M giga/hyper.

I don't think that they would tear the diner down so late in the season. They probably would have at least closed it by now if they were to take it down.
For the spray paint, I am pretty sure that is all just for pipes and stuff underground so when the construction workers dig something, they won't hit anything important.

My guess is that those dots are there so the construction crews know not to dig there. They look like the spray painted dots like what you would see where there are usually pipes.

But then again, I can also see the Juke Box being rethemed or even torn down and rebuilt entirely. Who's to say that it's not both? We will know for sure in 4 days.
I remember when it was like 80 days ago or whatever. Time has passed quickly. But I can tell that this week will drag by slowly...

I had I dream about the coaster. I went on it. It was a 250 Ft. or so wooden (yes WOODEN) coaster. It was called Cenfurion. I'm very different in my dreams than in real life. I'm pretty sure not a single person in the world thinks that this will be wooden.
