I haven't released anything that no one doesn't already know, whether through the blueprints that were posted here or the numerous teasers the park has given out. I simple posted an random image that I knew no one had seen of a spot in the intro that didn't give anything away.

And for the record - it's cool that folks are jumping ship on this thread to be surprised on Thursday, but yall are looking in a thread about the new coaster. A thread where every shred of evidence that has ever been seen (from footers, to track, to teasers) has been posted. Stop acting all butt hurt that I posted an image of nothing new and "ruined" what has been one of the worst kept secrets in Carowinds history. If you didn't want to know anything about the coaster, you wouldn't come to this thread at all.

It's like going to IMDB and getting mad because someone posted a movie spoiler on their site. You went to a movie site, you know the risk.

There's a big difference from giving the layout play by play, confirming if information is correct, letting the world know you have everything about the coaster...etc, compared to speculating in here and teasing like the park has done. Saying "every one already knows everything" and "its the worst kept secret" is just a cop out. No one had to confirm if the prints were authentic. The park didn't so why does anyone feel the need to do so themselves.

Does a good amount of people know what's in store for 2015...yes...does a good amount of people go around posting facts and posting screenshots...no, out of respect for the park and their way of doing things. Again...a lot of people come to this thread to speculate and discuss, to say no one should come here if they don't wanna know about the coaster is a jerk move. Of course she want to know about what's going on...but not so prematurely. Let the park release stats. Let the park confirm info and release visuals. Afterall this is their big moment...not yours...

"Why so serious?"
Posting that you aren't coming back is like telling thecashier at the local chinese buffet that ya aint eating here again....
Ya'll will be back, there always come back.

Only two more days! I am most interested to see the turnaround in the parking lot. The blueprints almost make it look like a dive loop. RollerBee will Bee here all week.

What part of the last 100+ pages was speculation? Based on the comments, I was under the impression we were all discussing the confirmations that have been proven through research. You can call my responses a "cop out" if you like, but that doesn't change the fact that no one got anything from the cropped, screen shots that I posted.

Again... What facts did I post that took the parks glory from them? You didn't seem to mind knowing the facts when you sent me a PM asking who the manufacturer was. You can't ask me for confirmation on things and then call me an a$$ when I give them to you.

I've never acted like this was "my moment" to do anything. I've answered questions that have been posted here from folks and added random information to the mix to help futher speculation. Some true, some false but only those that know everything will know which is which. Call my comment a jerk move if you must, but it's the same reason folks don't get on social media the night a huge reality show announces the winner if they don't want to know who wins right then.

And for the record, I haven't released the first stat or complete visual. What has been "decided on" has come from folks confirming speculation as facts. If you think I've released the stats, I would love to hear what they are.

As a newbie here, I've thoroughly enjoyed the discussion and comments from coasterbruh, jarsh, and all others. The intricacies and decisions made about ride mechanics, construction details, park marketing, etc. are fascinating and have helped build up my excitement for the "official" announcement.

Thanks guys. My2cents.

I totally appreciate everyone's two cents. This is a blog about Carowinds. That's why I have visited the site for the past 5 plus years. Fun and facts are the most important thing. Jarsh and others are awesome. Lay off people. Just like you jumped on me about the false track report I got suckered into. It's not fair and not fun. Thursday is an awesome day. I bet the same people saying they are off the site for the next few days are the one's that have gotten invited to the event through CW or CC. Maybe you shouldn't come to that event either. Be grateful. I am very excited. I've learned many things the past two days but to keep the elements of surprise I'm not posting it!

The world is watching this website and Carowinds. Act mature. Not like children. Do it for the men that created this site if not for yourself. It will go a long way for your reputation and career. Let's all be friends and enjoy the big news. Only 48 hours to go.

No argument here, just heavy discussion. :)

But in all seriousness, I'm just trying to find out what this confidential information that I've leaked is. If I've "released" any confidential information that ruined Carowinds' big moment, please let me know and I'll gladly take it down.

Jarsh, thanks for keep us guessing. You haven't stole Carowinds moment. I'm very confused at why people come to this thread if they don't want to know the general details. I enjoy your posts.

Those who really know are not posting to this site that often, like myself. I have nothing to prove to anyone and everything will come to light on Thursday!! And by the way, I'm sure that jarsh knows but he also knows how to get an arouse out of people. I've given a few facts but I've also thrown a few lures out there so the fish could run with them and I'm quite sure that he has done the same.

You said fish. Are we back to the sea monster theory now? lol!

I will say this about the intro video though... It's the single coolest coaster announcement video I've seen in a long time. Major kudos to whoever created it.

Boy we had to get one more trite little argument in here before the announcement didn't we?

It's been a tough line to walk with this site and how far we should allow the park to be pushed. On the one hand I've always wanted this to be a place where information and opinions can be shared freely (after all that is the advantage of an unofficial site not affiliated with the park), but on the other hand I don't want it to be a thorn in the park's side, or even worse a straight up enemy. We have all the materials needed to post a complete expose of the ride similar to BGW Fans, but decided against it. I'm of the opinion that raining on the park's parade (after all of the hard work they have done) would just be an exercise in ego stroking.

The park has expressed some concerns to me in the past over some of the leaks that have occurred, and while I promised that neither myself or the other moderators here will ever be the source of such leaks (and I don't think we have and in fact prevented one from happening a few weeks ago), I decided to let others make their own decisions in that regard. If Josh or anyone else wants to answer questions, post screenshots, etc., then I'm not going to restrict it. They will just have to deal with whatever potential consequences come their way with regards to their relationship with park management or the people who trusted them with the information they are sharing.
