General Carowinds discussion

Thanks for the screens Jarsh, and I agree that they don't give away anything we don't "know." The only thing you posted that could be considered a spoiler would be the layout. We do have the blueprints, but that doesn't really give details. But from those blueprints you could get a pretty good idea of what to expect.

That being said, senior members and admins are respected members of the forum. This late in the game people assume that information posted by those members is accurate and confirmed.

This is true, but I think most of us are having fun teasing everyone else, lol.

Hope this is good enough!

I think all the discussions back and forth have been great. Lots of different directions and ideas have been thrown around and the general sense of community has been very nice considering some of the battles and mud slinging i have seen on other forums.

I don't feel like anyone here has overstated or crossed the lines. I'm sure there are some on here that would have told everything and alerted the media. There is always that one kid that wants to ruin Christmas. On the contrary, I think those that know have done an awesome job of playing us, teasing us and leading us around.

It's all been super fun.

It would be awesome to be there in person but I'll be watching it live stream. I hope everyone has a blast and I can't wait to see all the "I told you so!" and "I can't believe that!" after the announcement.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to let the media know the coaster will be a baked bean theme. Jarsh said so!

If we bring enough cans, can we get a free hoodie?

Well if its sponsored by a baked beans and everybody eats enough, we could very well have a launched coaster.

Nice one Max. :)

Well... we aren't destroying a coaster in the beginning, but it's along those lines. I think ours has a higher energy level to it which gives it the edge in my opinion. But I might be a little bias, lol.

I am disappointed that a lot of people are pointing out Jarsh. First and foremost there people on this site (including me) that have pressured him for new clues on this coaster. That is exceptable, however, it is not when people point the blame on him for leaking "too much information," when you idiots asked for it. As a new member of Carowinds Connection I would hope expect everyone to discuss there opinions on whats to come and that's it! Secondly, It does not matter! It does not matter! I can not make myself clear of this. Almost everybody on this fan page has a general idea as to whats to come on Thursday, thus why does it matter if more, if not all information is leaked? As much as I care about Carowinds and this discussion in general It is a Roller Coaster for Pete's sake. Third, I want to prevent any more of this ridiculously rude blaming to end because I'm 100% sure that was not the purpose of this forum. Can't we all just get along, secretly or not?

That could be an event for a coaster event next year....

Geez what did I log onto. LOL. I been out 2 days and there's 40 pages of foolery. So to add to it, I had the craziest dream last night. I mean crazy as in this coaster was a 325ft suspended coaster.

The new toll booth was in place and the front of the old entrance way was converted to an international street type deal with the plantation house as the center piece and fountains leading up to it. The Carowinds sign that located when you cross the current bridge was moved up in front of the fountains with gold bricks leading to the out of the park to create the boarder between NC/SC and the street sign at the end. The entrance was a cedar point type with the LED billboards. The side walk created a V-shape one leading to general parking and the other to season pass parking. The coaster of course flew over the path and did a weird turnaround and went under the path.

It was so real to me. I was really there walking from the parking lot, watching the coaster fly over and under the path walked thru the turn styles and stopped and just gazed. Then my alarm clock went off and I woke up in total laughter.
