Out of these few rides and sections that have been taken out what would you honestly want back the most?

I personally would want White Lightnin back but in a different place.

I don't know what half of the stuff on that list is, but my choice comes down to two. I would want the monorail back because the park has so much more to look at now as opposed to what it looked like back in the day. Some great pictures could be taken while riding through the different themed areas while the driver gives a little background info about the attractions. I also would want White Lightnin' back because I have never ridden one of Schwartzkopf's launched shuttle loopers. When it was there, I was scared of it only because you went through the loop backwards. Also considering that we have so many diverse coasters and there aren't any launched ones nearby, we could use it.

As fun as it is to think about things that you'd like to come back to the park, I'd rather think about the future.

WL is the only thing that I'd like to come back; but, I'd be happy with an Impulse (maybe with a loop and call it WL's Revenge? Stick it back in that space behind Borg!)

White Lightnin'..... I've ALWAYS wanted to ride A Shuttle Loop.

You left off 4 of my old time favorites - The Oaken Bucket (Rotor), Waltzer (Tilt-A-Whirl on steroids), the Cable Skyway, and the Carolina Speedway cars.

It's difficult to vote for one. The monorail, train, cable cars and Sternwheeler were a great way to relax and take great pictures of the park.

The Surfer was wild and disorienting as was the Witchdoctor and Flying Dutchman.

But my vote has to go to White Lightning. Many fond memories of that ride including my excused 1 day absence from school to do a commercial shoot on it.

For me, it would have to be the Steam trains, followed by White Lightnin'.

Then the Sternwheeler and the Monorail.

Carowinds has so many good removed attractions that it's hard to choose!

White Lightnin', of course begging Gold Reef City in Africa to give our coaster back wouldn't be easy. I never got to ride this coaster because I was only a wee lad . I would love to ride a coaster that once existed in the park.

Why would Carowinds need a monorail, it's not like Disney World where you have to go through like 3 entrances and then across a lake. We have a parking lot to the park walk, doesn't require a monarail. That said, I think maybe some trams would do for that puppose, although I do like monorails too.

Wow, great minds think alike. B) I've actually had this idea running though my head for quite a while, minus the loop though, impulses are good enough as they are. My only difference is to stick it in the tiny sliver of land next to Thunder Road and Waterworks. (See pic <a href='http://www.pbase.com/image/19458281' target='_blank'>here</a>) You know, gotta have the "Thunder and Lightning" advertising campaign just like in the 70s! I even drew a 'White Lightning's Revenge' sign in one of my notebooks at school.. blah too bad I don't know crap about photoshop..
