I have to say I am really excited about what Cedar Fair is doing to this park. I've lived in Charlotte for 22 years and I always thought Carowinds was a kiddie park compared to Cedar Point. With the recent additions of Intimidator and even Windseeker and now Fury 325, the food options, the new entrance, and the speculation for 2016, Carowinds is finally due to reach its full potential. Thanks Cedar Fair!!!

They had chili dogs with slaw? Missed those. The potato skins were amazing, as was whatever that rice thing in the little black bowl with the lid was. Everything was awesome really, ice cream with pop-rocks, tomatoes and okra etc.

Carowinds removed half of the lights last offseason and KI didnt do it this season.

I had a little chili dog with cole slaw on top. One of those Carolina things I don't understand, but it was pretty good.
The potato skin was awesome!
But the Fury ice cream (with pop rocks on top) was the best! Super fun idea!!!

OMFG. That sounds awesome. That should be very popular! I will be most definitely be grabbing one opening day!

I can see the pop rock ice cream sticking around for years to come, becoming a staple of "the Carowinds experience".
