With the addition of a "Haunt Only" pass, do y'all think that Carowinds is preparing to go the way of Knott's Scary Farm next year? I believe that I read somewhere that starting this year, the gold and platinum passes will no longer work for their (Knotts') Haunt.

I dont think 2015 is possible 2015 season passes still include still include Scarowinds according the the Carowinds Website.

I guess this is a good of place as any to ask, does the 1 free fast pass work during scarowinds hours? I am not one for the mazes and stuff, I pretty much go to ride stuff at night, and the lines are always so huge then.

It's been a few weeks since the Scarowinds site has been live and one thing still hasn't changed..

It is the only maze that is not showing hours of operation for Sunday. Will it be closed on Sundays?

I am not in the know. However, I am speculating that it is because it is back there in the construction area. I assume they will be working Sun - Thu during SCarowinds or something like that.

Carowinds is offering a SCarowinds pass this year.

I don't see them excluding SCarowinds from higher tiered passes unless they really pull a Knotts. But Knotts Scary Farm has always been a separate ticket excluded from the SPs.

I know that on the 2015 Gold/Platinum passes it says Scarowinds admition included.

I don't think it will be the same as Scary Farm, because its a year round park.
I think thats why it was pulled, and Scary Farm is a much larger attraction I believe, not necessarily by number of people but by public awareness.
