Six is being very successful this year in relation to profits. In the not to soon future I can see either MM of GADV getting the tallest, fastest, traditional coaster on earth. A 410' intamin.

I'm interested to see how the giant looping rides turn out in terms of maintenance, I know that Brain Drain had several issues upon it's opening. And the fact that Six Flags is calling them roller coasters really makes me mad, it's just gimmick to make a park's coaster count look better. Just like how Cedar Fair is calling their new Disk'Os roller coasters, when in reality, they're just flat rides.

I'm surprised that Six Flags is still building Sky Screamers, not that there's anything wrong with them. I just thought the whole; "Super Tall Swing Ride" fad had ended.

I'm guessing that the "Battle For Metropolis" rides at St. Luis and Over Texas are dark rides. And as for Fiesta Texas, I like that they're giving it the Batman theme.

The only things I'm confused about is Discovery Kingdom's Dare Devil Chaos, La Ronde's Maison Rouge, and America's Bourbon Street Fireball. I guess I'll find out Thursday.

YAY!!!!! Good ole carnival rides for permanent installation. Good job 6flags!! :wtf: I'm sure it wasn't a secret that Colossus was getting the RMC treatment tho. I just cant wait to see the POV and off ride renderings.

MarkD your profile pic is epic!!!

This will also make it easy for Six Flags in 2016. Slap a Ring of Fire in the kids area, tack "Junior" on the end of whatever random name they're using for the 2015 giant loop "coaster", done.

Maybe one park can go with a Super Giant Loop from Intamin. They might be able to figure out a circle without having to re-profile the track the following season. And think of the distance one of those could toss a rider. I'm sure it'd be record-breaking.

Here are the only things worth mentioning:

New England: Wicked Cyclone

Magic Mountain: Twisted Colossus

No need to mention the flat rides being added since we all already know what they are.

And now, for the biggest disappointment of them al..
Fiesta Texas: Batman

...really. I'll admit, when I found out that a “first of it's kind” S&S free spin was coming to SFFT, I got really excited. Mainly because I was expecting a cool twisty layout, not a ZacSpin ripoff.

This is by far the worst year in Six Flags additions. We can only wonder how bad 2016 will be...

I'm kind of excited for SFFT. I think Batman will provide a smooth ride without headbanging. Isn't that a problem with Green Lantern?

Twisted Colossus looks amazing. Hopefully people get ejected (permantently) for throwing things. The ride itself looks great, but the racing aspect is really the thing that sells me.

And for the most exciting Six Flags announcement of 2015....... Wicked Cyclone. This will rival Medusa Steel (probably being the better of the two) and maybe RMC's best work.

Still, nothing will top Fury 325 :P

How many Intamin coasters have you actually been on?

All I can say is I'm glad my home park is a Cedar Fair park. While I'll admit the RMC coasters Six Flags are putting in are pretty cool, the amount of absolute unoriginality that has been invested into their parks over the last few years is pitiful. And changing classic and even historicic rides like Colossus is also pretty sad.

Wicked Cyclone and Twisted Colossus look mind blowing. So excited to have Wicked Cyclone a few hours away and it will probably be the first RMC hybrid that I get to ride. Several more years of this and the top 10 steel is going to be completely taken over by RMC.

I agree Jonathan. Wicked Cyclone and Twisted Collosus are going to be a great ride experience and I would travel right back to the west coast to ride it. Didn't someone do a similar conversion on NoLimits with Thunder Road with the corkcrews?
