As mentioned by a lot of people before... Days of Thunder is back in the Action FX Theater. They just had a blip about it on News 14. It opened today of course to take advantage of all the race fans in town.

I too heard about it by way of the news this morning. Its about time to, because I didn't like the movies that came after, well, I did like James Bond a little, since that was the only one that I actually saw after they took Days of Thunder out.

I'm glad they did this too! James Bond and Days of Thunder are my favorite films they've had in the Turbo Theater. (Though Spongebob is alott better than that "7th Portal" crap) Now I'll actually have to notice the ride this season! The memories of 90s Carowinds are coming back...

I rode it tonight. Felt kinda wierd seeing it again after all of these years. So I guess everyone that wanted it back finally got their wish.

I'm glad it's back. It was my favorite of all the films. Although Spongebob is a close 2nd (I'm being serious). lol No wait, I think the 7th portal would get #2, then Spongebob.

That is cool. Haven't got to ride it yet, but everyone must think its realy cool. It's good to have a live action feel to those films. Hey, good idea bgwfreak...

I got to ride it today. It was fun to ride DoT again.

Although it's already starting to look dated. The car paint jobs haven't looked like that in at least 6 years. It's kind of funny.

And the car with no rear end is hillarious. Looks like they just threw it together, and said let's roll before it falls apart!!!

Had a chance to ride it yesterday, it was pretty cool. But the theater is starting to look kind of worn and they need to fix it up nicer. The ride was fun though. Hopefully next year they will bring in two new films, and perhaps upgrade the theaters.
