Enclosed roller Coaster
I'm talking about a coaster similar to Space Mountain or the new Laff Trakk in HersheyPark. Riding a roller coaster with special effects around you would be a great addition to the park. This will expand the diversity of rides in Carowinds and would be great to see.
Water coaster
Similar to this one, I think this could the "big splash" carowinds could be talking about for 2016
launch coaster
Like the Kingda Ka, this could be a great addition to the park
Ferris Wheel
All parks have one thing that carowinds does not... a ferris wheel. I do not count the Scream Weaver as a ferris wheel. Adding this could seem like a small addition but would attract people who are scared of roller coasters.
More concerts
I guess they are growing in this, but they need to have more concerts in Carowinds. The amphitheater near the entrance is really used twice in a year, so they need to put more use of the amphitheater.
Wing coaster
There is no good reason, but i really would like to see Carowinds have it
Change the action theater
There used to be a Spongebob action theater, but when Cedar Point bought Carowinds, they took it out. Now it is a dinosaur documentary, attracting very few people. If they could bring back the 4D chairs.....
Change the musical
The musicals are themed 50-60's music. I liked the musical alot, but I really wish they could do a "evolution of music". From classical to now. This would bring people from all generation

I agree that a Dark Ride would be cool, but I'm not sure that's the best location.
Bringing back the name Blackbeard's Revenge for a Dark Ride (possibly where the Fury/Viral maze currently is) would be amazing. Blackbeard's heavily associated with the Carolina coast and the Boardwalk area would be prime realty.
I think they should add a new Scarowinds Scare Zone between Afterburn and County Fair, called Freak Show, with contortionists and stuff like that. It'd be cool and different. But maybe the idea would work better for a show instead.
If we ever got a Wing Coaster, I would say something different like X2 or the newly announced Batman: the Ride would be a better fit. We absolutely do not need another B&M, but if we did get a wing-ish ride, i'd hope for a 4th Dimension coaster.
