Best wood: Some woodie in the northeast and not the deserving coaster El Toro.
Best Kids area: Kings island.
Cleanest Park: Holiday world
best food: dollywood.
Best park: Cedar Point

I wonder how I did? Golden tickets have been a joke ever since I heard about them in 2004.

I always thought Europa in Germany was a great park. From the atmosphere, food and unusual attractions it set itself apart from others. It is the park that Mack built.

Nice to see Carowinds get some recognition again this year with Intimidator being in the top 10. Hopefully next year Fury 325 get's so nice recognition as well. Have to disagree with many things on this list, especially with Diamondback being rated so high at #4, personally didn't live up to the hype the multiple times I have ridden it. But hey, I usually don't agree with a lot of things Golden Ticket posts.

Yeah, it's kind of absurd that Lightning Run only got 9% of the votes, but as I laid out in a prior thread, that's the flaw in how this poll works. Just not that many people probably made it to Kentucky Kingdom this season.

Curious to what makes intimidator so much better than diamondstack? They both have a trim right before your going to get some ejector air.

For me, I just feel like Intimidator has more airtime. I believe it's becasue the mid course break run is literally in the middle of the layout, where as on Intimdator it's basically at the end of the ride. Which is why I prefer Intimidator due to it having more airtime IMO.

Golden tickets are bought and paid for. We used to have Mitch's poll to show a more exact standing, but sadly TPR has a tad too much influence. It's still more realistic than GT, but flawed.

I like Diamondback a bit better than Intimidator personally, but they're more or less the same ride. Diamondback has more going for it at the end of the ride to me, whereas Intimidator just kind of fizzles out.
