ACE Southeast is proud to announce the return of our Rip Roarin' Rampage event at Alabama's Splash Adventure on Saturday, October 25.

Since the park will have closed for the season, the Koch family has decided to reopen the park to everyone in attendance and allow FOUR HOURS of ERT on Rampage and their new kiddie coaster! The event will run from 6:00pm until 10:00pm with a meal being provided at 6:00pm.

If you've ever been to this event before, you can remember how crazy those night time Rampage rides are. That mixed with new trains, new wood and new track mean this beast is ready to kick major butt again. If you've never been to this event before, now's your chance to add another wooden coaster to your Top 10 list!

The cost? A whole $20. That's right folks. Twenty bucks gets you all the ERT you can stand on two coaster plus a meal and all the free hugs from Mrs. Koch you can handle.

I'm working on the event flyer right now so it should be ready to go in a few days. Until then, make your plans to attend now!

Awesome! Holiday World's loss is Alabama's gain. Rampage is one of my favorite woodies, but it clearly needed some TLC back when I rode it. I suspect that after the rehab it may be even better.

I'm hoping that it runs like it did that first year.

Dan said that the four hours was a floating time. If people are still going strong at 10:00, he'll be there to keep em going!

I have this image of Dan as a guy who is releasing years of pent-up energy and enthusiasm after spending most of his career practicing law. Seems like he's always having a good time, just like Will did.

That's EXACTLY how he is. When I got the behind the scenes tour back in April, that fool had me climbing all over Rampage (in it's run down state mind you) and it was all I could do to keep up with him.

Picture Will with the mouth of a sailor, lol!

I have a friend that just moved to Birmingham. I'm trying to sweet talk my husband into giving me a weekend off from "mommy" stuff to go see her and attend this event!

Looks like I am IN for this event! Soooo excited! I haven't been to an ACE event in a long time, and this one sounds like it's going to be a fun time.

I do have a question for Jarsh…Is it ok if I bring 2 guests? Or are we limited to just 1 per member? I will be visiting a friend in Birmingham for the weekend, and one of our other friends will be traveling with me, so we'd all like to go.

I know it's a double post, but I had to say...

I booked my airline tickets for this trip today! So excited to see my friend in Birmingham and to finally meet Jarsh in person! I haven't been to an ACE event in YEARS, so I'm super excited!!!

Look forward to meeting you as well. Trust me when I say the park will make this small event worth our while. Just remember that, for the most part, Holiday World started getting big with the addition of Raven. I can't imagine what good things are in store for Alabama Adventure.

Woo hoo! Flight booked, car booked, hotel booked (crossing fingers that it's not sketchy…it is a half hour away, tho…) and tickets purchased! One month from today, I'll be in AL and ready for the event the next day! :)
