I think all of them have strobe lights, try the 7th ward, it's fun!

Hey guys, I was wondering what some of the less scary mazes are at Scarowinds? I get very easily scared... the last time I was at Scarowinds I went through the slaughter house and I was pretty uneasy about that.

I haven't been in a long time, so I can't verify this, but I found Fury/Viral boring and loud compared to the other mazes. Kind of the same thing with Last Laff. So if you don't want scares, stay away from The 7th Ward, Cornstalkers, and Silver Scream. Zombie High and Defex are moderate.

Thanks! Are the scare zones not as scary? Or are they just shorter?

Last nite was the perfect nite to go. More employees than guests in the park, no lines for anything (but Defex. Seriously?! How does it have a line?!), and the weather was perfect.

Did all the houses but Sinema cause I did that a couple weeks ago. Rode done rides (Hurler was particularly good). And ate. Oh, also saw Eternal Jamnation. This really needs to be let go. Same crappy show as last year. It's terrible. They need a Hanging or Bill & Ted type show. This is the worst one they've had for SCarowinds in the last 6 or 7 years.

I like how they have the DJ and lights at the plaza stage. Hope that turns into something they consider keeping. Ate at Harmomy Hall. Three times this year and still good.

All in all a great nite.

The Scare Zones are okay, they usually aren't as scary as the mazes. I can't remember too much though. I'm supposed to go to SCarowinds next Saturday and I haven't been to the park all year.

I had a great time at Scarowinds, we didn't go through any mazes (they all had huge lines), but we did manage to go through all of the scare zones. The scare zones are fun, but a couple of them need an uplift. I thought that Mass acres could have used a few more scares in it.

^Why no mazes? The longest wait I've ever had for any of them was 30 minutes. The lines go faster than you may think.

I am heading down to the park on Oct. 26 to check out Scarowinds. This will be my 2nd visit to Scarowinds as I went to it last year for the 1st time. I truly enjoyed it that evening, am looking forward to doing a news article about my experience.

Heading to Scarowinds this weekend. It will be my first visit there in a few years. I remember traffic on I-77 south is a nightmare in itself so the plan is to arrive early. What time does the parking lot open?
