I noticed that many users have brought up that Carowinds said there may be some surprises for the 2015 season to go along with Fury 325 and the new entrance, so I decided to make this thread so we can discuss what we think they will be. Some people have been saying it will be a small improvement, and some have been saying that we will be getting a new flat ride; In my opinion I think we could see:
-Tunnel on Fury
-Obstacles for Fury to dodge
-Vortex repainted
-Scream weaver repainted

I realize that the entrance as seen in the animation does not have every thing in it. So there will be a few "additions" to the entrance for 2015.

I was thinking with a different color scheme (and possibly the 'rougarou' treatment), however I was unaware it recently was repainted. Do you know when it was?

Intimidator could use a new paint job. It looks awful after only 5 years.

I wouldn't say it looks awful, just pink. Red doesn't hold up well in the southern sun so that is to be expected. I'm sure we still won't see Intimidator repainted for another 5+ years since it costs so much.

Pink with no gloss. I wonder how Intimidator 305 looks. The uv there shouldn't be all that different than here.

If they really don't repaint Thunder Road in 2016, for its 40th Anniversary, then a lights package like that would be an excellent alternative. (although, in a perfect world we could get both). I just hope they don't ignore Thunder Road's special anniversary for the 2016 season, it really needs/deserves something to commemorate such a special birthday, IMO. I think a new sign is also needed so we can finally ditch the one that shows Thunder Road going backwards. A big sign showing off Carowind's original classic coaster would be epic.

But I'm done rambling lol... for now.

Or better yet, if they could bring back the original style trains (with better seats and restraints of course). One side could be backwards again. Plus repainting and light package. But this is probably just me getting my hopes up.
