I like greying out. It happens on Goliath, Titan, and I305. It even happened on an i vertigo for me once. No big deal.

Goliaths downward helix is one of my all time favorite coaster elements. It's extremely intense!

Earlier today I reported seeing track pieces being place on supports, I looked again this afternoon and the pieces that they put in look white did anybody else see that or was it just me?

They got 2 pieces in! Definitely a good sign! I remember going to SCarowinds on Friday night. I had a hard time picturing how massive it would be, how it could dwarf Intimidator which is already quite massive. I hope I'm not jinxing anything, but I think the break run could be finished by the end of the week.

I could be wrong but looking at the webcam today I think they put in the other straight piece before the loading station and 2 of the curve pieces after the break run. Looking at the pieces that they have put in I did not realize the added catwalks that were attached to them...no wonder this section of the track has taken a little longer.

tarheel1231 I'll do you one better than that...as long as there are no more hold ups and considering what was done today we my possibly see some portion of the lift hill by the end of the season.....oh no I went a jinxed it.

Yeah, I don't mind at all. I'm a big fan of Carowinds Connection as it is the primary coaster forum site that I visit.

Sorry, October has been a super busy month for me so I haven't been around much.

October is always a busy month for me every year. I will be going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this weekend. And next weekend I will be going to Carowinds. Will any of you guys be at the park on that day (November 1st). We can have a little meet-and-greet like we did on August 21st.
Anywho, This will be a long winter...

Also, I may have a reason as to why there is no webcam facing towards the front entrance.
One, perhaps the park didn't want to upset anyone who may be watching the demolition (as if no one is upset already ).
Two, there will be a few surprises. That I am sure of
Three, maybe they just don't want a webcam there.

Also, about the recent track installation...
The new sections have the catwalk on them. That causes one side of the track to weigh more than the other (yeah I'm captain obvious). The track must be at the correct angle on the ground, then raised into place. This process will be the same for the lift hill and Brake-Run.
But anyway.
