I manage to get all of my college work done on time and also achieve high grades. I rather enjoy college :) . I also try to make time for this too. so it's a win win for me.

So all I have so far is this: the front view of the plantation house...

Amazing drawing of The Titanic and model of Hogwarts! I'm thrilled to see how the model of the plantation house turns out!

I am working hard to make it as exact of a replica as I can... However, I was looking at my sketches today. If you take the sketch (in color) of the entire model, then take the individual sketches (mind you the plantation house will be around 10 inches long and roughly 6 inches tall), the final model will be four feet long! at least!

I don't really know how exactly I will tackle this until I finish designing all of the buildings, then draw a final sketch of the entire area at the scale in which I will model. I may have to cut a few things out (like a stretch of paths) so I can include the important stuff. But I won't know until then.

And thank you for your nice comments. The are really appreciated :)

I will be working on more sketches of the plantation house today when I get back home.
Since the plantation house no longer exists, and considering that I will be at the park next Saturday, I will not be able to get close-up shots of the building. I will have to rely on my memory, videos, and pictures from here on out.
Here's how I'll construct the structures:

1) I will flatten a slab of clay to less than 1/4" thick. On one side I will add the details of the brick and such. I will cut-out holes for the windows and window molds and I will add those separately.

I have been thinking about that actually. But I am waiting until the model is under construction before I send any pictures to her or the park. I have already asked about making a model of Fury, but they cannot accommodate a model such as that at the moment. So with this one, I want it to be kind of a surprise. At least until I actually start building it.
