I will post several pictures of the next sketches and coming construction process, but this project may take me up until January to complete. I'm trying to have it finished by the time the Winter Warm-up comes around.

Now I am designing the interior of the plantation house. Then, I will draw the buildings surrounding the courtyard and fountain, then I will be able to draw a final sketch of the entire model actual size so I will know how much of the materials I will need to get. The model itself is in HO scale (for those of you who like model railroading).

Here's the interior floor plan of the Plantation House. Please note, I am only designing what can be seen from through the doors of the house itself.

More coming soon!

Hey Famous this is great stuff.

The plantation house only had 8 turnstiles, where the turnstile is on the left (and right) side is a little caged in area using the same railing design that was inbetween turnstiles.

Thanks for that input. I never really knew what the sides of the room looked like, so I just used logic. For better accuracy, do you mind sketching what you described so I can implement that in my sketch? It is slightly confusing what you are talking about. I understand the ''caged in'' part, but I'm not sure how to orient that in the sketch.
