I'll add my two-cents; I'm fine not having any other big chains in the park (although I do like Panda Express).
I just don't see the point of voluntarily choosing to overpay for the same food you can get outside the park for less money.

If I'm gonna pay upwards of $15 for a meal at an amusement park, it better be something I love (hence the reason I'm okay with Panda Express), or something that can't be found elsewhere. Something exclusive to the park, or at least exclusive in the way that it's executed.

I would actually like to see Juke turned into a full service indoor outdoor Coasters. That's be fun. And I'd like Wings to be turned into a buffet like KI has but with better food.

And I hope the pizza at Papa Luigi's is better next year.

My cousin owns a very successful doughnut shop here in Martinsville. He serves, doughnuts, breakfast and lunch. Something like this would be great at Carowinds. Everything he makes in handmade. A great addition to the park.

I'd like to see Wings turned into a restaurant with a more Carolinian-theme. They could call it "Carolina Classics" or "Carolina Cafe". They could serve pulled-pork BBQ sandwiches with cole slaw (which I've never had before, but it sounds delicious). They could serve those potato-skins that I saw from the announcement. If Carowinds can do that, I think they will be the best Cedar Fair park food-wise.

I think we will see a Starbucks in the near future as KD, CP, and CW have one, and KI is getting theirs next year. Maybe it will replace Cinnabon & Edy's? No?

I think Carowinds should add a Biscuitville or Bojangles and then afterwards significantly lower the prices on all food throughout the park!

I'm hoping that Carowinds will get different restaurants that have different things... Wings, Harmony Hall, and that planet snoopy restaurant all have the same menus. I expect that the new "southern" food like the food at the announcement will replace some of the unhealthier options.

Tips:

1. Harmony Hall looks like it has some great salad.
2. Stay away from Chickie's and Pete's. SO MANY FRIES!
