General Carowinds discussion

It appears that Julie has moved on from her position as PR / Communications Manager. After emailing her a few updates and questions for 2015, we got an email bounce back with the message saying that her email is not working anymore and to direct questions to another email and/or phone number. So, we left messages there. However, a friend of ours saw that Carowinds posted the position on LinkedIn. Julie was always so helpful, and we certainly hope she does well in her next endeavor(s). Similarly, we hope that Carowinds finds the right person for the job!

That's really a shame that she's leaving, she was so friendly and kind. I even emailed her an essay I wrote for school about Carowinds and she read over it. Hopefully the next person does as great of a job as she did...

Probably because you all bugged the crap out of her.

Seriously though, this has been known for a while, and out of respect hasn’t been mentioned here. The typical lifespan of a park PR is 18 months. Julie surpassed that and any other expectations. She’ll be missed, and hopefully everyone will wish her well.

This site has seen, what, 6 or 7 PR directors come and go now? I suspect it's probably a pretty tough job that takes a lot out of you. Long hours all summer long I'd bet.

Either way, it doesn't really have much bearing on anyone here so there's not really a need for a discussion on this.

Julie and the other folks at the park were very kind in making sure that our members here were involved in the Fury 325 announcement and I definitely wish her the best.
