That's great to hear! Keep us up to date if anything happens! :)

(If anything does happen, I hope the woodies go to Great America and Carowinds. The other PPs have enough!)

I think I better re-clarify what I stated in my earlier post. What I meant to say is that GCI has an interest in working a contract with Paramount Parks. Whether the process of contract talks has started yet I am not sure, but I have a source that says GCI is definately interested in Paramount.

I'll keep ya posted.

I would like to see one like the beast or the sob.

I'm not sure we'll ever see Paramount build another SOB. The problems/criticism that they've encountered are not worth the risk of SOB(clone).

I would love to see another woodie at PC maybe along the lines of Ghostrider out west at KBF.

I personally think though that a Hyper or Launch coaster would be the next/best big coaster to add to the park.

I can't see the GP getting overly excited about another woodie when they can hop on ThunderRoad or Hurler without having to wait more than 5 minutes in line.

Exactly. I agree 100%.

Or maybe we could buy Hurricane when they tear down that park ;)

They should get a new one to replace Hurler, one that is so much better that we will not even miss Hurler, because comparing it to most wooden coasters it isn't much, love the banked turns though.

^ It will be IMPOSSIBLE for me to NOT miss Hurler, it's a great coaster!! I don't care if it gives me headaches I really really really like it!! I don't see why you guys don't like it...

Yes, It would be terrible to see the hurler go, but no I wouldnt want Carowinds to get a new wooden coaster. The reason is because Carowinds is missing out on alot of steel coasters, such as floorless, flying, hyper, giga and more....I'm not saying that Carowinds needs all these things. I'm just saying theres more options then a plain old woody.........

When was the last time you were in the park!!

Besides it doesnt take every coaster to make a park complete.......a floorless is just a glorified sit-down coaster...........whats the difference between a hyper and a giga........height??

Umm, in case you didn't know, BORG is a Flying Coaster......

Technically, its a lay-down coaster lol. ;) But yea, borg is one of those. You wouldn't add a flying and a laydown coaster at the same park. We have a lot of coasters, keep in mind that we have 13 roller coasters, thats way more than most parks have.

I 100% agree with this too, the only thing that gp will be excited about is something tall or something that launches IMO.

OK, I'm confused. Give me an example of a park with a laydown coaster and a park with a flying coaster. All these years I thought they were the same thing.

Laydown coaster - Borg at Carowinds
Flying coaster - Superman at SFoGeorgia

Technically the only lay down coaster is the flying coaster :P being that you are on your stomach throughout the ride............but thats just my perception.
