I'm sure there will be some kinks to work out, but LIM technology in coasters has been around for nearly 20 years now. It should be pretty straightforward at this point.

Hopefully it will work as it would be interesting to see more B&M launches. Maybe Carowinds can get one in 6-7 years :D

Kills two birds with one stone (answering the whining people on facebook who want a Wing Coaster and answering the coaster enthusiast community by adding a launch).

Says the guy who promotes a company that can't seem to get traditional lifts and log flumes (which have been around for decades) correct without substantial downtime...

I haven't been at the park since 2011 but I might make my first Holliwood nights next year. Thunderbird looks like it will be great.

All my plans for next year seem to keep coming apart so for the first time in many years I'm not sure what 2015 will hold.

It's happening this week and many think that the ride will be a re-themed Eagle's Flight, the park's Flying Scooters attraction. I think it will make Thunderbird feel less isolated because it won't be the only ride back there.

I agree. It'll look much better in it's new location, and that will add another reason to be in the area. Very good decision, IMO.
