Is the Trip Reports forum useful? #68862

Last year we had a total of 16 trip reports posted for the entire season. Is that section a valuable part of the site to you? Should we keep it around, or just have future trip reports posted in this forum?

I find it interesting to hear about other parks that I never seem to have a chance to visit.

Well, in this case the Trip Reports forum is specifically for Carowinds trip reports.

With Fury and everything coming this year, I'd assume that there will be a great increase in TR's this year.

Personally, I like it. Maybe keep it for this summer, see if it is used more often with the addition of Fury 325, and if not, kill it then?

TPR's will be posted either way, a sticky thread in the carowinds section may work just as well.

I agree, I like it and would assume there will be an increase upon Fury's arrival.

Personally, I think it should stay -but I wouldn't be against a single sticky trip report thread where every post is a trip report or response(s) to a trip report.

My suggestion would be to make the trip report form for all trip reports. I know there are quite a few trip reports posted in the anything goes for him. I think it would be a better used to be able to see all the trip reports in one form. But that's just my personal preference.

Personally I like the separate forum to post TRs. I am no fan of "stickys" although I see them being necessary at times.

If you do away with that forum when TRs are posted they might get lost in the sauce. I enjoy reading them when someone posts one but I'd like to se TRs from all parks, not just Carowinds.

Just my opinion.
