I would like to have Drop Zone modified to be the tallest drop tower, or at leasy get it up to 250 feet or above. I've only riden it once with my friends on education day, I liked it and wanted to do it again, but time was short. The funny thing is that i closed my eyes halfway down. Yeah, I can hear your laughs from my computer. Mu biggest fear is not falling out, or brakes failing, but getting stuck up at the top like those people did for hours like a year or two after it opened. I mean, what if a thunder storm came up and they couldn't get you down, and you got struck with lightning (even though its highly unlikely this will happen, its still one of my biggest fears.) Thats one of the reasons why I waited so long to ride it because my brother and parents wont ride it, so I rode it with my friends.

^I know how you feel.... I'm scared of it too.. i'll still ride it, but i'm terrified when I ride it, I don't know why because the first two times I rode it I wasn't scared one bit, but when I rode it in April, I was terrified... wierd huh??

Call me weird. I can't stand the Intamin drop rides. But, for some reason, I walked on PittFall at Kennywood with no problem! I'm totally enamoured with Acrophobia. I love space shots but hate turbo drops.

Add me to the list of people that are terrified of Drop Towers. Drop Zone still scares me every time, almost a decade after it was built. I can only handle about two rides in a row before it turns me into a nervous wreck. :D

I could never imagine getting on one of the taller ones at PKI or PKD!

Ok you're weird ;)

Someone said something earlier about adding height to Drop Zone?

I don't think that's even possible. It would probably put too much weight for the lower sections of the tower since they weren't designed for that much weight.

I personally would like DZ ripped out and put in a clone of PKI's. I really love the view you get from that far up.

But I'd like a Tomb Raider (top spin) or Delerium clone first.

This is a rumor I found at a very cool site....................

New Flat Ride-I have gotten word that a HUSS ride has been bought by Paramount Parks, this is believed to be a HUSS Frisbee or Giant Frisbee. The location of this ride is believed to be the area where the dome arcade was, and believed to be annouced in June, I can not wait to see what is in store for 2005. Boomerang Bay is also expected.

So is it safe to put this baby 6 ft deep now!!

I think that this is kind of an old rumor, but Paramount is looking into building an Italian Job ride which will have you in mini coops going through stairwells,etc.. I've also heard about the Addams Family Coaster that is a vertical drop coaster under a mansion into the graveyard by way of Uncle Festers new invention. But, these are just rumors as far as I know.

What? I am told rumors and I post them. I am not going to make it false just because it says June, that is what I was told. I have a new rumor, I can post on that page but it is from the same guy. A employee dropped the hint something Austrilian is coming. I have pently of rumors about that.

Here's one to stir the pot. Someone noticed (and it was confirmed to be true) a particular Paramount "official" riding Thunderhead at Dollywood last week. Could it be????

I don't know. That actually sounds very reasonable. Especially if Boomerang Bay does come next year. One of the last bad (or odd) sections of the park is the old Dome Arcade. Maybe they will fix that area next year, possibly with a ride. It seems highly likely to add a dry ride along with an overhaul of the water park.

But, I'm just happy they finally fixed the old island, that was a grown up eye sore.

I think a Happy Days Diner will be coming next year as well.
