can anyone tell me the difference between the Silver and the Gold season's pass? what does the gold have that silver does not?

also, i see that they do not offer the option to pay the full amount all at once. only the 6 month payment plan.

have they got dates yet for Bring a Friend day for a low price?

Most importantly a gold pass includes Parking and SCarowinds.

I believe it will allow you to pay it all at once, though there is no extra cost to do the payment plan, so you might as well.

It's your choice on what season pass based on how many visits you will make, if you will make visits to other Cedar Fair parks, etc.

Nevermind. I heard back from the park. Here's their answer in case anyone else was curious:

Yes, you may visit our campground store anyday between 9-4 to have these passes processed. If you are coming from the interstate go 2 stoplilghts past our main entrance. Turn right at the sign that says employees/deliveries and then right past the gravel lot on the left turn left. The campground store will be down on the right, just past the swimming pool. Thanks!

It is a good idea to buy at least one gold pass. Parking is $15 per day so the extra cost of a gold pass pays for itself.

I live an hour and a half from the park so I doubt I will have an opportunity to get down and get my pass processed before opening day. This will be the first year I have bought a pass in a few years so what will I have to do when I get to the park on opening day? I'm assuming I need to get there early and they will be processing them at the new building outside the gate?

No one knows. This is the first year under this new method. We can all describe how it's worked for the last decade but that likely won't help you here.

Between the Guest Services building and the Ticket Booths, they will be building a walkway that will lead to the Season Pass Processing Center, but currently passes are being processed at the Campground.

I wonder if Carowinds could make a Fast Lane Plus All Season option for season pass holders sometime in the future, since they have added the all season dining plan?
