You can see the old Monorail storage building in <a href='http://members.aol.com/k9660r/aeriala.html' target='_blank'>this</a> photo. Look to the left behind the flume. Yes, that is where the Plantation picnic shelter is.
After reading posts in other forums related to Paramount Parks, it seems that the Paramount chain in general has had a lot of firsts.
Just look at Son of Beast (first modern looping wooden coaster), Hypersonic (first installation of this kind at any park), Volcano Blast Coaster (first Intamin suspended launch), Outer Limits (first fully enclosed launcher), Stealth (first modern Flying coaster with inversions). Any more?
