What other coaster would you like to see besides a hyper or giga. I would have made a poll, but there are just way too many choices to choice from.

I wouldnt want to see a coaster any time soon. Personally I would like to see some more flats and some added theming to what is already there.

I know that coasterbruh, but if you had to choice a coaster to put in Carowinds, then what would it be.

then I would have to say a launched coaster, my preference would be an enclosed launched coaster.

Or a custom launch shuttle..........Thats something you dont see everyday...........

Whether it be compressed air or LIM/LSM, a launched coaster would be a good fit for Carowinds. I would prefer something totally unique. No clones please!

I think they need to bring back White Lightning. They could upgrade the
safety features (no more hydroplaning or dangling off the end). I'm sure
some company could do it. It would be nostalgic as well as a ride I think
a new generation would love.

A launched SLC....j/k

Maybe a launched coaster with a Storm Runner type layout (cough *White Lightnin's Revenge* or *Son of Lightnin'* cough) over in Thrill Zone. Just remove the skycoaster and put it there.

Remove the skycoaster?! I love that thing, we can't do that.

I do like the idea of a launched coaster...maybe a unique Intamin rocket coaster, similar in height to Xcelerator. It doesn't need to be any record breaker. I also like the idea of a custom Premier LIM/LSM ride.

I also wouldn't mind seeing a custom B&M floorless.

A Vekoma SLC! And i'll make sure it's even rougher than Goudrix SO YOU ALL GET SUCH BAD HEADACHES YOU DIE!! Muhahahaha!!! j/k

Ok, i'm calm now lol.. I would really like to see a B&M flyer, Carowinds would be the first and ONLY park to have TWO flyers!

You know Charlotteguy...I've never done a skycoaster (Skyscraper yes, Skycoaster no.) I've always said that if I do one, I'd do the 300 ft one located next to Old Town first. Maybe we can do it at C3! Have a few frozen margaritas at Outer Hanks...and let'er rip!

I've never done the Xtreme Skyflyer either.

Hahaha, we just might have to! It's great. I've done a skyscraper as well, that is an intense ride. The skyflyer isn't as bad as you think. The scary part is the really slow lift, but when it drops, man, what a rush. I love it.

Margaritas and coasters...that could get ugly...

:::off topic::: :rolleyes:

If i had to choose something else, i would pick something from B&M probably, you never know what problems Intamin may have. I would go with a B&M Floorless or just a regular 4 across seating coaster, put around 6-7 inversions on it and make it a little taller then some out there now, and you're set. :D

I'd like to have a launch coaster that has tons of inversions and high speed turns and drops.

I'd love to see an Intamin impulse coaster, preferably with twisted spikes (ala Wicked Twister) and a holding brake on the back spike. During Coastermania last year, WT was one of the surprises of the trip along with Raptor and Blue Streak. For just going bascially back and forth, the ride was great fun. Plus, these seem to be among Intamin's most problem-free rides of late.

That and the hyper would fill Carowinds biggest holes in the lineup. IF not an impulse, some kind of launch coaster is needed.

To me a floorless isn't that different from Vortex or Top Gun. I'd probably rather see something else to have more variety unless they did something really cool with the layout. I love B&M loopers but having a "Top Gun Jr." with a different riding position isn't as appealing as something truly different, although I could certainly live with one. :P

I'd bet on something like the impulse, or an Invertigo as the next coaster IF it's not the hyper. Something smaller like those would be pretty easy to shoehorn in somewhere and would provide a nice change of pace to what's already there.
