I still wonder why they haven't finished the wall paneling.

^^They may be waiting to finish the landscaping up so they don't damage the new wall. That's what I was thinking anyway.

Or it could be that those bundles of panels were damaged in some way and the erector rejected them. I'm betting those panels are custom made so if it is damaged panels, then it'll take several weeks to get new ones made and shipped.

Yes, it is a 2 story gift shop building. Also we have to remember that the entrance as seen in the Fury animations was really early-on. Several things have changed such as the buildings, the central plaza area, the bridge area, the midways. Speaking of the midways, those large circles/ovals won't be there. So the one on the state line as you walk underneath Fury won't be there. The magnolia trees will be returning to the entrance. Me personally, I think that they will go within the circular planters that line the state line.

2-story gift shop? Wonder how that will work without an elevator.

Remember that the Rock Shop (prior to the current remodel at least) was technically two stories. Originally in the Wayne's World days customers could go up to the loft area for additional shopping, but in recent years it was just used for storage. There was never an elevator, not to my knowledge, just stairs.

I remember, trust me I remember. My wife and I used to make out on those stairs when in 2006 when we worked at Carowinds. Last time I seen the loft open was 2006, but very few guests knew it was open. But ADA laws were different in 1994.....

If only you knew how Chopper Chase was used by some(not me), you wouldn't want to ride again. Anyways, looks like they are about ready for pavers.
