I think I was wrong about the flags. It looks like those spikes might be there just to be decorative.

Two random spikes are hardly pleasing to the eye -I would bet that they will serve some purpose other than just being there.

^ I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking maybe to prop and ties things up on the roof during events like for scarwoinds or something.Image

Then looking at them they're pretty tall so now I'm think event banners like for Taste of the Carolinas?? Idk

They are covering those up with plywood, looks like it anyway. So I have to agree with you on this one.

Fun, meaningless nitpick time (hey, everybody is doing it):

I sure wish the the paver color was less maroon and more brown, like the building siding color. They just don't match well.

Welp looks like paving of the parking lot is underway.

I'm really noticing the amount of cement being poured. What is the new portion of cement to the left for? to avoid the busy-ness of the entry plaza or used to head to the Amphitheater. It's messing up the circular area for me.

So I noticed a weird shadow being cast from what appears to be something tall-ish just as you finish crossing the bridge. It looks to be directly on the state line concrete pour. Could this be the state line marker making it's comeback?
