In the video posted back on page 32, you can hear mike saying something about how they will wait until later on in the season to put in the state line sign. something about crowding up the pathway by photo ops. I guess.

It isn't the state line post. That area is in shade and it's still there now. Prolly just something laying around.

^^ In the video he says they aren't putting it in front of the bridge, because the photo ops cause congestion. He says something along the lines of "we're going to be putting it father down". Around the middle of Carowinds Plaza would be my guess (on the state line, between Cinnabon and the FastLane/Photo building.)

I wonder if it will be a cool improved version, as Mike talked about in Amos' WWU video, or the original?
Personally, I would like a new one in the same vein or style as the original street sign, maybe with a light fixture on the top?

I think that they will bring in a bigger better state line sign, and the old one will be used on the state line near Thunder Road. or was I supposed to say that now? Oops.

Drove by today for the first time in a month or so. There really isn't much to see of the new entrance from the drop-off, but the construction fence is down at Cabela's and store setup is commencing.

Wow! Cabela's looks great! I have to admit, though, I kinda miss Plaza Fiesta. My daughter LOVED their huge play area.

I've been following everyday, but it seems like there are conflicting reports on this... Will there be one giant long screen on our entrance like at Cedar Point? Last I visited up there was 2013 and it was the best part of their new front gate (aside from their giant B&M Wing of course).

I'm impressed at how fast they are moving on the pavers today, my guess is they are in a hurry with the weather coming in tonight.
