As most of you probaly already know, RCT3 is coming out in November. Today the site was launched, and the game is so cool looking. It's 3-d, you have night and day, you have coaster cam, you have music that you can upload from your computer and you have something that is really amazing, fireworks. You can make your own fireworks displays for any part of the park. You are challenged by having to light up your park and rides for the night. You also have guests that are unique in age, style, height, etc.. from babies to seniors. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait for this game to come out. I thinks thats really cool. WHEN I get the game, i'm going to make a Carowinds recreation too!!! It's going to have the 4th of July fireworks by the sky tower. Ha, I cant wait to ride Top Gun in my own house.......

As long as the play and build mechanics are like RCT 1 and 2, then I have no problem with 3D.

However, I always found the 3D environments and ride-ons in SiM Amusement Park games to be very frustrating and annoying, so I hope this isn't going to be a fancier version of that crap.

The Fireworks sound great. The family and age AI sound like very welcome additions.

If this is a great incarnation, then the recreation of real parks will truly be amazing this time around. I wonder if you can ride on all the rides, or is it only the coasters?

I think that you can ride most of the rides, except, I've heard at the roller coaster tycoon 3 forum <a href='http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=315' target='_blank'>(click here)</a>, that you can ride all of the coasters you build, and most other rides, except, now I don't know this for a fact, but some of the flat rides might not be rideable. But, I have also heard that you can ride in any seat that you want on a coaster, but I don't know that for a fact.

We still play RCT 1 with the Loopy Landscapes expansion.
Simcoaster was awful. I think we will skip RCT2 and just get
RCT3 when it comes out. Maybe Santa will bring it to me

If you watch some of the coaster cam videos, the clouds move, the sky is different colors, and on the mega coaster one, it runs over a bird at the end. I have also heard that there will be more weather effects, one of them is windy days. The water on RCT3 is very realistic looking (look at some of the screenshots and videos.) I agree this game got me hooked to rollercoasters and making them. I love RCT 1,2 , and soon 3 :wub: :wub: :wub:
