Well, guys Carowinds Zone(sorry,Jon) has a major construction from Carowinds. There is stuff going on in Animation Station and on the Cyclone, yes, on the Cyclone. I don't know if they will amount to any thing. The markings on the Cyclone may not mean it's removal.

You should resize those pictures it took me forever to load them even on a cable connection. It appears that the Cyclone is having some sort of structural issues, so they are adding plates in a lot of areas to help with the stress the trains put on the joint between the track and supports as they travel by.

Yeah, I couldn't see the word "gusset" from my viewfinder, but I inspected the photos, and found the word. I then asked around to find the meaning of the word. I am glad to see the old Cyclone is staying. I have yet to fiqure out what is coming in 2005, but from what I have heard and seen, it looks like a new flat ride, and a overhaul of Animation Station.

Nice to have an update to carowinds. I hope it is going to be a fast whirling flat. But it is in AS. I am also glad to see cyclone staying.

Well, I was talking to a couple employees yesterday about 2005 and dropped some hints as to what is coming, I can't tell ya'll about it through I ain't a park employee. Here is a hint, unpainted wooden walls are teasers to us.

It didn't take long for those pictures to load for me, and I have cable (earthlink.) So, unpainted wooden walls. Lets see, everywhere in the park is unpainted wooden walls. Can't wait to see whats in store for Carowinds. Hopefully its something good!

Ok, when you say "stuff" going on in AS where have you been. The t.v. station has been down for some time and has been dicussed here several times. Im afraid that im gonna have to take on the 'tude of a certain poster and say until I check my sources Im just gonna take this very lightly. But in that same token, anything is possible as of right now so it wouldnt suprise me if something was to happen to AS. And as far as stuff going on, im assuming you saw all the ground moving bull dozers and the 300 ft crane with intamin track hanging from it (oops me and my big mouth!!)

I meant like fences. I know the TV has been gone but I just got down to Carowinds to check it out. Any changes at Carowinds are looked at as teasers. The walled off walkway near Top Gun has been reopened, why is was closed to begin with a don't know.

That TV was a part of my childhood! It brings a tear to my eye to stand there and remember the way things were back in the day. Paramount is destroying our wonderful little park!
