And sometimes Radio and TV station purchase tickets too. What's wrong with going against the grain? I can't help it I see things from a rational position.

No, you see things from a combative standpoint...its almost as of someone says the sky is blue and you'll say its off-blue. WHY...OH WHY would a radio station participate in an auction?

Wow! Well, I did not mean to pull this discussion away with the bid observation. I feel that it is always possible that there is a legit reason for this, but the likelihood is extremely low. I'd assume 90% chance it is not. If it is a legit reservation, I'd imagine that there are better ways to reserve the seat.

At the end of the day, I remain hopeful that this format for raising money is successful. Personally, I prefer the method used by Kings Island with Banshee as more people could be involved and allow for additional money to be raised, but I'm confident this way will work as well!

I would prefer them use the same method of The Intimidator. Could have just have 96 bids with the top 12 get the autographed ball. When I participated in the The Intimidator bid, I donated a good chunk but I gave my seat to a friend and picked a closer to back seat for him because it was one of the best seats! Some people don't like the front but still want to get that autographed ball.

Maybe roller can come back and explain why this method is better...cause you know...that's what he does...

The max bid on those seats is no longer "reserved please do not bid". It's back to being Dan Dyszelski (or however it's spelled).

So, it looks like it WAS someone shady and not someone just trying to be anonymous, and that Carowinds has taken care of it.

So Dan now has almost $2000 tied up on the entire front row of train #1. On the plus side, that's only $500 a seat. If we jump in there last minute with our combined money we might be able to beat him out of one seat.

Although... seeing some of his bids it looks like $500 *might* be his top limit. There are several bids in the high $200's and then he jumps it up to $500 so his autobid might've just showed everyone what his max bid per seat might be..
