I've been wondering the same thing. I'm guessing they're waiting until they're done with the lane closes to Fury 325 so they can do the entire parking lot in one shot. I've been watching them working hard on that and have observed them putting in more concrete curbs.

I think paving is generally one of the last things you want to do because you don't want to mess it up with equipment and other construction. Seems like it's the finishing touch, but I'm just speculating.

It was designed like that. It's not your eyes.

The state line as you go under Fury will also not be a straight line going into the circular plaza. It too is crooked.

The path under Fury had to be made that way due to the contour of Fury's turn there.
The state line path is crooked because the actual state line is not exactly straight through that portion between the parking lot and the circular plaza.

They have been doing season pass stuff in the campground during the offseason. I don't know the days/hours they are open.
