Carowinds actually fell in rankings as the deadline approached. At one point in the year, Carowinds was actually ranked #13. Themeparkinsider.com registered users vote on individual attractions at theme parks to come up with these rankings.
Universal's IOA was ranked #1 with Sea World Orlando right behind in #2.
Top Gun is listed currently as the #3 up and coming ride which essentially means it hasn't received enough votes to be listed in the top attractions.
Spider Man at Universal IOA was listed as the #1 attraction and Legoland the #1 park for kids.
I'd encourage all members of this board to register and help Top Gun make the list next year.
