Hey guys! I logged into MSN Messenger today and on MSN Today it said "Top Ten Amusement Parks" so I clicked on it, and sure enough Carowinds was one!

hmmmm thats pretty good but just look at some of the parks Six Flags Astroworld but congrats to Carowinds though at we least we are placed somewhere in a Top 10 list and looks like we have some more recognitiong

FYI: That list is about two years old. That was posted in 2002.

I recall when it was put posted online that all the fan boys from IOA and Tragic Mountain went crazy and started to whine and cry about it. It was an entertaining sight to see some of them replied that they even e-mailed MSN and complained. It reminded me of when GRP set the record for riding the most coasters in 24 hours and people cried and moaned.

That list was kind of funny when it first came out. It's like they just picked various parks from across the country and creatively ranked them by what their websites say.

I do give them kudos for having the nerve(more of just ignorance) not to put Islands of Adventure on a top 10 parks list.

this little disclaimer was at the bottom too:
