Wonder if they are planning or were planning on matching the Paladium roofs and walls with the new plaza. I just noticed that the rooflines seem similar.

It is very nice of them to make the scenery and roofs pretty for us before we plunge down that first hill.

Android, Windows or iPhone? Passbook on iPhone is capable of storing tickets, cup vouchers and season passes according to Carowinds.com. Has anyone done or seen this in practice?

I myself have an iPhone. I haven't seen anyone do this yet. I might try on the preview night for pass holders so atleast if it doesn't work I'm not holding up a bunch of people in line.

I've been using mine thru my passbook to all cedar parks I've been to. Works fine!!

How do you add your season pass to passbook? I had no idea you could do that, I tried to scan it in like a card but it said "No pass available for this at this time"

It gave me the option when I renewed my season passes online. I elected not to add my pass but I did add my souvenir cup voucher.

Exactly what Rollerbee said. Also you can download the key ring app and scan your season pass and it will save it as well. I use that too for all my season passes with cedar dollywood and sixflags.

I really hope they add lots of trees to the area, even more than in the animation.

I think it would be a great statement at the front gate, and the greenery would no-doubt make Fury's ride experience better.

Wonder what the tarp around the new entrance area is for? Any thoughts?

I would guess that they are painting inside there with sprayers. The wrap around it would prevent any overspray from leaving the area and getting on the surrounding buildings, etc.

Does the circular planter in the center on the entrance plaza looks like it's being dug out some or is that just a shadow playing tricks on my eyes? I mean, I see sonmeone in there and the top of it is about 3 or 4 feet over their head. Looks deep enough to add a fountain to it, lol. *fingers crossed*

Edit: Nevermind. Upon further analysis I see that they are indeed buiding a wall inside it to display the CAROWINDS letters on.
