Has anybody wondered why Whitewater Falls has been closed for 2 seasons straight and how the Frenzoid has been closed so much lately? It makes you wonder if the 2005 flat ride will go in that location.

On second thought, Whitewater Falls might just be closed because of water restrictions and the Frenzoid is just a coincidence. But, you never know.

Maybe this is because of employee shortages?

The "Less Waking" thing was really stupid wasn't it?

Actually White Water Falls has been open in the past two years. It has not operated lately due to a broken part, but will be in operation again in 2004.

Frenzoid is normally closed because of staffing. They normally only operate it at peak hours in the summer season, not that I can blame them since you hardly ever see anybody on it. And to think that at one time it was so popular that the line use to spill out of the que all the way back to Harmony Hall.

Most people don't evan notice the two attractions are closed, so I doubt many people would miss them if they were gone.

I've never wanted to ride Frenzoid. I'm not a huge fan of flat rides for some reason.

I love Frenzoid. It is fun. I would hate to see it go.

Every time i go the freaking ride is closed!(frenzoid) i want to ride it REALLY REALLY badly but it's always closed.

I have a question about the ride: does it have shoulder restraints or lap bars?

Please use capitalization and punctuation in all of your sentences from now on.

Which ride are you talking about? That would be understandable for White Water Falls, but I haven't seen a lengthy line for Frenzoid since the early 90s.

IMO Part of Frenzoid's problem is the restraints. They are very painful, and one of the reasons I have not rode it in along time. Six Flags Over Georgia's Looping Starship has the same problem, obviously they were both built by Intamin. It is a fun ride, and I wouldn't want it to be removed, but the restraints make the ride less enjoyable.

I personally would move the ride closer to the walkway, in an effort to increase attendance. Maybe over to Carolina Boardwalk where the Old Chairlift Station/Board Wok currently is. Then rename it Blackbeard's Revenge. (Who says the same name can't be used on a different attraction--although it may cause some confusion)

Rumors suggest both rides will removed after 04 or 05 for Boomerang Bay expansion. Yes, I do mean Boomerang Bay and not WaterWorks.

Well, if the Campgrounds close for good (was that ever confirmed yet?), they could use the employee parking behind Pipeline Peak to expand and pave the gravel lot and make a new and larger employee parking lot where the campgrounds used to be, without touching either of those rides. You do have to admit that for the low ridership they have, they do take up a lot of space. I think there is a much better chance of White Water Falls being removed instead of the Frenzoid though.

With the exception of White Water Falls breaking later in the season both attractions were open every time I went (18 times) As far as a flat ride being put there I think that the new Water park expansion might take it over in some fashion.

To answer the harness question they have Shoulder restraint along with over the leg restaints.

Hopefully they wouldn't remove any flats for expansion purposes. Maybe just a reloclation in the park as they've done with Screamweaver.
