So, back on topic, I just had an idea about a water park renovation. You know pipeline peak? Those tiny, enclosed, painful, stuffy, slides? They could take those out and replace them with the drop box style slide! I went on one of the drop box slides at Water Country USA, and they are really terrifying. More terrifying then you would think.

Pipeline Peak is one of the most popular slides, it's not going anywhere. They'll probably expand the water park under Thunder Road into the parking lot.

There's no 'probably' about it. The water park will be expanded and you can count on the drop floor water slides.

I think giving Thunder Road a re-build would be pretty cool. Rocky Mountain is doing an awesome job with Twisted Colossus. A Thunder Road/White Lightening tag team would be pretty cool.

If they were going to RMC anything, I would rather it be Hurler.

Thunder Road is fine, and with more rehab it can be better.
Hurler, however, could benefit much greater from getting re-done. IMO.

What's the cost of a rennovation vs a scratch built RMC? I'd love to see something done with Hurler, but I really, really doubt it will get a RMC job, especially by next year. Fingers always crossed though!

Thunder Road and Hurler both underwent pretty large scale rebuilds in the last 5-6 years. Hurler just needs the 2nd turn done and the trim removed and it will be good as new.

RMC doesn't need to touch either of these rides.

2016 is bringing some much needed waterpark additions anyway soo...
