I don't see them doing something like that. Fast Lane (and most other parks with similar options) generally set a certain number available for sale on each day. If something like this did happen it wouldn't be a "fast lane" anymore as it would become like the regular/standby lines.

Hey guys do you have to have a gold pass to get in the 27th? I have a gold pass but my friend is getting a silver pass and didn't know if you get in on preview night with a silver pass or does it matter?

I pulled this directly from the website...
Join us for a private preview event, exclusively for 2015 Season Passholders, from 5 – 10 p.m on Friday night, March 27, the night before Carowinds officially opens to the public for the 2015 season. This special preview event gives 2015 Season Passholders a chance to be one of the first to ride the park’s newest thrill ride, Fury 325, the world’s tallest and fastest giga coaster.

A silver pass is a Season Pass so it would be included. Only major differences between Silver and Gold is Gold gets Free Parking and Unlimited Scarowinds....oh.....and Free Dinosaurs. That's why I upgraded to Gold.

It's to keep those dang Cabela's people from sneaking in and going hunting and fishing in the park.

I have a question about the passes, if Im doing the monthly pay plan will I still be able to get in or I have to pay it all up front?

You should be able to get your card without having to pay it all. I bought my passes right before Halloween, used payments, and picked up my passes to use at Scarowinds. They issued me the cards when I went in to pick them up. Now, I'm sure if you don't make payments they can flag your account and deactivate your card, but as long as you are making the payments you should be fine.

Does anybody know if there is a cost to having new pictures taken for a pass? This is, I believe, the 4th year in a row that we are using the same passes. Mine is fine, but my kids hardly look like their pictures anymore. My daughter was 7 (now 11...and taller than me!), and my son was 11 (now 15). They look enough alike to know it's still them...but hardly.

Ha! I'm in the same situation. My picture was taken five years ago when I was 11 (now 16). Employees take a couple glances at me whenever they see my picture.

You don't need to get reprocessed if you renew unless you feel like your picture needs to be changed. I think that only applies to us teenagers though

I wonder how processing is going to work because I'm guessing we can't go through the new front entrance (it's still a construction zone). I'm guessing we're gonna have to go through the pavilion to get to the pass center.
