^ I like that idea, but it is most likely never going to happen at Carowinds. It would be really cool if a zip line went through a coaster's loop though.

^^ I don't know what Dorney Park's Possessed's cost was, but Steel Venom at Valleyfair is nearly identical, and it was $8.5 million. I think that impulse coasters look fun, but I still think we would need a larger launched ride like Maverick or Full Throttle to make everyone happy. :D

^^^ 8 million doesn't sound bad, I agree I would love to see a maverick type coaster, but if carowinds isn't going to bring a big coaster for a while Id be happy with a Possesed type ride, it won't cost them much and it will be another unique addition to their college coasters, I can see em putting it near the county fair since it needs more rides. I still think even THO it's a small ride it can reach over fury's height? Maybe carowinds should consider that a way to reach the tallest coaster level in a cheap way?

I'm just gonna make a list of slides I'd like to see:

Mat Racer (absolute must)
Drop Capsule Vertical Slide
Drop Capsule regular slide (difference is that there is more than just the drop)

And I'd like to see the name changed to Carolina Cove if the name changes, but I doubt this will happen.

What if, let's say (and I'll use your example, Tarheel). Let's pretend that the new name of the water park is Carolina Cove, like what Tarheel said above. the water park could use more shade (duh), so a shady water park would fit that name very well. In my opinion. I like that name though. I don't quite understand the Aussie theme.

More shade would be welcome. The Aussie theme came from Crocidile Dundee but they never used the tie in at Carowinds.

Me personally I would like a taller dropzone/drop tower. I wouldn't think it would be extremely expensive to drop it in the same are of the park...Something about a huge drop that just gets your heart pumping lol.

Thanks, I stole it from the name of the old gift shop currently occupied by sweet frog (I think). I do agree that trees should be in the water park. I hate walking barefoot on that concrete in the summer, and even if I bring flip flops, I still have to take them off. If the water park gets changed, I'd rather see it as a carolina theme and not Soak City. I want the water park to stand out from the rest of the CF water parks.

Trees make leaves...leaves get in pools...pools get clogged up...clogging causes mechanical problems with water pumps...water pumps break. So yeah, your aren't gonna find too many water parks with lots of big trees.

While at the park this past Sunday (for season pass processing), I noticed that they've put up construction fencing in the parking lot where the handicap parking row is at South Gate. We had to drive through an opening in it since we entered the parking lot near Thunder Road's turn around.

I don't remember this fence being there during Winter Warm Up. Anyone else?

I thought this might be for the forthcoming 2016 construction and/or possible water park expansion.

This one has been on my mind for a while. I wish they would give the Carowinds Theatre facade a makeover. Add some brick or pillars or something. The whole facade is quite boring.
