Barbwire's score sheet isn't very good. I'll believe about 10% of what they post. Cause 10% is about how much they got right about Fury.

^My thoughts too, Thunder Road will be 40 in 2016. Both Rebel Yell and Racer have walkways under it, plus didn't someone(more reliable source) here say that Carowinds has plans for Thunder Road's 40th anniversary?

Remember nothing last for ever. The Plantation House taught me that. I could see it gone. Also the old Scooby do coaster in the kids area too.

I doubt the junior woodie would be removed either. Not too many parks have one of those. It would be an ACE coaster classic if the seatbelts hadn't been added.

They have just retracked the Woodstock express, so they at least care a little bit about it. IMO I love it. Intense yet tame.

If I'm not mistaken the park itself said at Winter Warm Up that they were planning something for Thunder Road in 2016, but they left it at that. They said no white paint (which sucks), but on facebook they hinted that the "Grit your teeth, bear the load, enjoy your ride... on Thunder Road" signs could be returning on the lift hill.

It won't be going anywhere anytime soon either as it just got rehab work this off-season, along with all the other new stuff we are getting for 2015.
