How often did anyone see Kookaburra Bay open last year? Of all the visits I made, it was only open once. Ideal spot to build a larger waterplay structure.

In the next few years, I could see Carowinds opening in early March. Saint Patric Day is getting bigger every year. I also could see Mardi Grai events too. What do you guys think? What's the earliest you think the park could open and be profitable?

I don't see the park opening any earlier than first weekend of Spring. SFOG opened in the last weekend in Feburary one thia(2005 I think?). I have seen flurries called for on Opening Day before. 2006 I beleive and the park almost closed early and the rides were down to basic positions only.

Makes since. The last frost is around April 5th and we have had Snow in April. But a St patty day weekend would be great !! Now that we have the mean green machine! Cheers to all who get to ride Wednesday. Will be waiting for pics and Reviews.

I plan to film a lot of video like I did at the WWU. Not on ride video of course, but in the queue and station (which has already been approved by the park, so no worries!). It may take about two days to edit all of the video and get it on my YouTube channel. Hey Jonathan, should we start a Fury 325 Media day thread? or just use the current Fury 325 thread for pictures and video taken on Wednesday? Just to throw that out there.
