Looking at the webcams, I'm going to guess and say no. I think those bright lights we saw on top of the "sign" last night will be inside the new sign to light it.

My guess based on pictures from CP is this sign will face the gate, interesting and different but I bet that did this to try and keep it out of the way. Any word of the old Paramount's Carowinds letters in the Carowinds plaza are still intact?

It actually makes me sad to see it change that much. ): I guess it's silly of me to be so nostalgic--I have only been seriously visiting to the park for about 6 years now. I shouldn't be so attached to the past, I should be excited for the future! (And I am so excited for Fury yay!) sorry I rambled a bit there

^^No but the cutout in the circle has a sign in it. It faces their parking lot. The interesting thing is the sign looks convex but the retaining wall in the cutout appears concave to me. Am I correct in this observation or are they both flat?

It looks to me like the wall and the sign will both bow out toward the parking lot. That would seem to make the most sense to me. Perhaps they will have a North/South Carolina sign on the "cutout" area of the circle?

Mike said in a video on youtube from a few weeks back that the NC/SC sign would be farther down on the other side of the bridge, toward the old planter in Carowinds Plaza with the gold lettering.

I believe the rational behind this is that people will have the gold Carowinds sign in the background of the pic -and also will not be blocking the entrance to the bridge.

But, yeah, I agree it looks like the new sign will be attached to the front of the cement wall (facing Fury and the parking lot). Sure hope it looks great and simplistic.
