I just drove past the park. Did intimidator's lift hill lights always flash and strobe or is it just me?

And the entrance sign is being installed...
It seems to me that it might have been nicer aesthetically if the circle and sign had been turned clockwise with the sign facing in-between the two paths... instead of just centered on the little used bus path, with an angled view towards the the main lot.

I believe they flashed during SCarowinds last year but I don't remember for sure.

Any word on what that dirt patch is going to be between the paths? I had speculated before that that area might be a pond but it looks too shallow on the Fury side to be a pond. Maybe they just haven't finished with the green yet.
