Well, the cost of my model has just broke the $600 mark.

just a quick update.

After I finish painting the landscape and add the fences, trash cans, flower pots and such, I'll wait to add the trees and grass. But instead, I'll go ahead and make the structure for sections 3 and 4 of the model which are the Courtyard of the Carolinas and the Plaza Bridge respectively.
In order to get this done on time, I'll have to leave out some of the tiny details that won't be noticeable.
We'll see what happens.

Okay, here's today's update:

I only have sections 1 & 2 completed for now and may not have sections 3 & 4 completed for another month or so. The park knows this already. However, I will go ahead and bring everything that I've made just to showcase it. Then, what I still need to work on, I'll bring back home and finish it. Jonathan, please don't lock this thread yet as there is still a lot of construction left to go. Now that I have more time for this project, I can add a few extra surprises

For those of you in attendance tomorrow or whenever, feel free to take pictures of the model and post them here, facebook, or wherever you wish.

Anyway, we made this last night to transport the model in:

It's not the best thing in the world, but it will work for what I need. Also, I will be adding trees to the section I just recently finished yesterday, however, the mognolias lining the state line will not be added until wednesday because the trees won't arrive until then. I am working on having my delivery location changed to Carowinds so that they;ll arrive while I'm there.
I should know more before this evening. I went to bed last night and now I have a lot to do before I leave tonight.

Well, I can't get my package to be delivered to the park tomorrow. So when you look at what I have done, you will notice that there are no trees lining the state line in the planters. As of now, there's nothing I can do about that. However, I plan to come opening day and I can add them then.
