I think themeing it to the Smokey Mnts would be cooler than a peanuts theme. Powder Keg would be my first choice. But a 3 ride deal with Mack. A flume 1st a river battle ride (Blackbeard revenge) And top it off with our on Blue Fire style Coaster (White Lightning) would be great.

You're forgetting the most important one of all.. Shoot the Rapids. The one that cost $10.5 million and still failed to work right despite being a ride type that has existed for at least 100 years.

Whitewater Falls is being removed.

One big splash, leads to another BIGGER splash...

so there....

Well, that came fron left field. I hope yout bigger splash doesn't mean something like Perilous Plunge,Intamin Water rides seem to be perilous trouble outside of rapids.

I found a price that estimated it at $15 million so not too bad...
But it's an Intamin, and we all know CF and Intamin aren't BFFs right now!

may just be me wanting Carowinds to become a Disney-esque park, but wouldn't something like Matterhorn or Splash Mountain would be awesome? Seems just a tad out of reach since Carowinds hasn't ever seemed too concerned about heavily themed attractions. Hopefully they change that in the future because that is what puts Disney parks on another level. On my realistic wishlist would first be the return of the cave on RRR or any other theming(spelling?) and maybe some way of increasing capacity or efficiency(I know one of the rotating platforms was mentioned before, but not sure how that would be practical) since the extremely long wait times don't seem worth it to me anymore. Also a racing water coaster and a lengthy 8 lane mat racer.

Roller, my best guess isn't that Barbie gets his info from working at the park, my guess is Barbie gets third hand information from people that may be involved outside of the park, hears what they want to, and passes it along.

For instance, someone that worked for the company that actually constructed Fury would have likely been told that Carowinds was getting a coaster 100' higher than intimidator with a vertical drop and unique elements, while being world record breaking.

Taking that at face value then coming here and demanding that what you speak is gospel all while getting most stuff not quite right, makes one lack credibility. But when translated, that all pointed to fury. 'Virtually' of course.

That's why when I told yall KI was getting an invert and KD was getting a Giga, I didn't speculate, I only passed on what I knew to be absolutely true. (Well, except that whole Giga thru the woods thing for KD, but chalk that one up to third party error ;-) )

And I don't see them adding an Intamin anything, but most especially a Superflume. The got rid of the one at Knotts and I'm sure CF learned their lesson with Shoot the Rapids and watching the failure that was Pilgrims Plunge/girrafica.

I think you have all the pieces there Edwardo! Who else other than Mack and Intamin makes water rides? I think O.D. Hopkins is stilk around but Whitewater was the first and last ride Paramount worked with them on to my knowledge.

If Cedar Fair went with another log flume ride, then I would respect it'd be a Mack or WhiteWater West. Cedar Fair has a bad relationship with Intamin after I305 and Shoot The Rapids.

Even just removing Whitewater opens up a good chunk but if you add in the deck area and the mini golf, it would really open up the entry to Boomerang Bay.
