I do wish that they would have a single rider line since they are assigning all seats. It just seems that would be a more efficient way to fill all the trains to capacity.

That would be cool! I won't be getting there until close to 3, though. My son has Driver's Ed until 2, and then we will head straight there.

I believe Friday will be much busier as that's the start of spring break for Charlotte-Meck Schools. (That is unless they are using that as a makeup day from all the "snow days". If that's the case it may not be too bad before 4 or 5.)

I go to Union County schools and we had Friday as a make up snow day but they ended up lifting it so we have off on Friday. I'm not sure about CMS though.

Well…boo…I'll have to leave before that so I can pick up my daughter from school. Too bad. I was excited to meet one of the few other females that are on the board!!! :)

Anybody have a clue which day would be busier next week: Wed April 8 or Thurs April 9? I figure the local schools are out and probably swarming the park that week. I'm hoping to drive down from PA and check everything out.

Oh, bummer! Well, we'll be there quite a bit over the summer, so I'm sure our paths will cross at some point. :D

Unfortunately I didn't meet any of y'all on opening day. (Maybe I did.. If you were at the park in a Universal Studios hat than I met you. Not sure if you're on Carowinds Connection though! ) I'll be heading to the park again during spring break, but i'm not sure which day yet.

I have been stalking these boards for a good year now and decided to make an account and post. My family and I went Friday for opening night. Got on Fury in about 15 min. Seeing how my husband and I have three kids and one is only 52inches tall boooooo lol. Someone had to sit with him. Anyway I rode with my other two kids, who loved it of course. When we got off I told my husband to go with the two kids again so he could ride. But we all know what the line was like Friday night  so he passes. So we went today and it was so much nicer. Hardly any lines. Going back Friday to do it again

First of all, let me say the food this year is great! I also think that the new entrance is fit for crowds, although it does make me sad to lose the Plantation House and all that, but on to Fury. WHAT A RIDE!!! The drop is amazing, and I greyed out at the bottom. The transitions on the speed curves are almost I305-esque, and the speed is phenomenal. I also greyed out while speeding up the turnaround (a surprisingly intense moment), and the drop under the new bridge in unreal. The sideways airtime is so unique! Also, the airtime hills at the end are near-ejector, and the head-chopper in the helix was a nice touch as well. My new #1 coaster (Out of the 281 I have ridden).

I personally hope Tuesday and Wednesday will be the slower days since those are my days off next week.
